Captured Hearts

Daughter of nobility, Anne-Marie de Chalmes faced the guillotine as the frenzied mob cried vengeance in the madness that was Revolutionary France. Disguised as a peasant, she set sail for England, only to find herself entangled with the audacious and irresistible spy, Max Dayton.
Hunted like animals across the English countryside, they found no sanctuary – yet their uneasy alliance became a love strong enough to defy even the blackest treachery
