| DC: I was writing about the French Revolution, one of my favorite historical periods, at the same time as I was writing my science fiction novel, The Goda War. That wasn’t the first time I’d written two novels simultaneously, but afterwards, I promised myself I wouldn’t over-commit myself like that again. |
